The church has been known, since its earliest days, for how it cares for its most vulnerable members. Right now, we're setting up two ways that we as a church can support each other during this shutdown:
The Community Support Fund & Mental Health - If you lost your job, lost income, or need support to secure mental health services during this crisis, we want to help. We're called to help. And for those of us to whom God has given plenty, this is a way we can share it with each other. Donate HERE, and apply for support HERE. You can find a list of recommended therapists and counselors in THIS PDF.
The Needs Network - Some of us are more vulnerable to this virus than others. Perhaps you need someone who is less vulnerable to run and get groceries for you, walk your dog, or give you a ride to a medical appointment. There is someone at Tapestry who WANTS to help you with that. Sign up for the things you need HERE and sign up to volunteer your support HERE.
Let's put our faith into action.
