Holy Week Guide
This week is Holy Week - the week between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
This set of devotionals has been prepared for you to use during this week, to help prepare your mind and heart for the celebration of Easter. Every day, there is a scripture to read, some thoughts to reflect on, and prayer to pray, each focused on a Station of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross are used in some traditions as a means of meditating on the experienced of Jesus during the lead up to his death and resurrection. They are a means by which we can remember the story of God’s redemption; a story that we are still a part of now.
On Good Friday, you’ll find 4 shorter reflections - one at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, and 6pm. Given the gravity and significance of this day, we encourage you to pause throughout the day and reflect on Jesus. You are also encouraged to attend our 7 Last Words Service, which will be streamed online that evening at Tapestry.Online.Church
You can find the PDF of the whole devotional guide here. In addition, every morning, we will also post that day’s reflection on this blog, with a link to it on Instagram.
We pray that you will meet Jesus through these devotionals.
